Tai Chi drop-in class – Community Centre

Classes lasting 45 minutes cost £5 each and are run on a drop-in basis.
TaiChi is a gentle form of exercise, done in slow motion. Tai Chi movements usethe whole body. Benefits include improved fliexibility, balance andagility; improved energy and stamina; improved muscle strength; impoved moodand reduction in anxiety and depression.
Taichi is suitable for people of all ages andabilities and can be done while sitting in a wheelchair or chair, while holdingon to a walking frame by listening to instructions if you cannot see to followand by watching the teacher if you cannot hear.
The qualified instructor, Kathleen Gibson, trained under theauspices and guidance of Tai Chi for Health.
