Central to our life as a church family are our times of worship. We meet each week to praise God, to learn about God’s love and purpose for His people, and to be inspired to work and witness for God in the days that follow.
Sunday services normally take place at 10:30am. Our preachers are drawn from both ministers and lay preachers who serve the 34 churches in the York Methodist group of churches (circuit). Sunday worship takes different forms, from lively and contemporary, all-age family-oriented, or more traditional worship. When not all-age, children and young people are invited to join the ‘Young Church’ group for part of the service time.
We usually use video projection for song words and to share images and videos, and are accompanied in our singing by the piano or organ.
